May the baseball Gods repay Chris for the blasphemy about true baseball fans regarding the infamous A-Rod.

Not long to go now...
Assuming things get wrapped up tonight it will have taken just over 4 weeks in all, which is pretty swift compared to previous years. So congrats everyone! It also means we've still got the best part of 3 weeks until opening night, which should give us plenty of time for at least a few more season-ending injuries to key players. Who will be next in the never-ending game of elbow ligament roulette? Nobody knows!
What does everyone think of their rosters? Who's had the best draft? Personally I was pretty pleased with my team right up until the Lee/Stroman double whammy last week. Now I'm going to need a few things to break my way if I'm going to be competitive this year. But you can't predict baseball! (apart from the fact that all exciting young pitchers will need Tommy John surgery at some point, obvs).
Should be another good season though, there's some pretty decent-looking rosters out there. It's certainly not easy to choose a clear favourite. I like Mike and Ike's youth movement, and I think 902 Cano and MotownLowdown should be in for bounceback seasons. As for the reigning champions, I see Matthew's gone for a team of experienced veterans, so even if they don't reclaim the title this year they should definitely win it in 2010.
Anyway congrats again to everyone for a successful draft, and as they say in the vernacular, let's play some b-ball!

Love the work you've done Stephen! I too am a commissioner in another league, so I know the work that goes into. That draft started a week for this one and is still going, so yeah. Anyways, it's hard to say which teams are going to be competitive. Tito's looks solid again, but it is a bit of an aging roster. 902 Cano and I took jab after jab at each other with draft picks, so we were thinking very similarly for a while. Stephen, it seems to me you went with a strong youth movement to restock for future years. I'm just excited baseball is back and the league is alive and well. When does the waiver wire open up for transactions?

I see Matthew's gone for a team of experienced veterans, so even if they don't reclaim the title this year they should definitely win it in 2010. Hey, they used to laugh at Brian Sabean for his 'experienced' teams. I'm fairly satisfied with my draft. Feel like I more or less broken even: drafted about as many targets as I missed out on. Didn't set out to build such a geriatric roster but it's hard to get your average age down once you have David Ortiz. Everyone seemed to be on their game this year. From Round 7 onwards it's hard to pick one team that stands out. Jacob and Chris J have managed to stockpile awesome levels of keeper talent which probably gives them an edge. But as 2014 proved, baseball's a crazy game sometimes. Who will be this year's Michael Brantley? EDIT: Oh, and thanks to Stephen for his usual stellar work on the draft. Slick, professional, and pretty colour-coded spreadsheets to boot. Can't fault it.

Thanks stephen
My 2nd year in league and still immensely enjoying.
As far as drafts go, I'm quite pleased with mine a few holes that I'd like to fill but potential is there.
Gonna be a contrarien on current vogue of drafting for lots of keeper options. As far as outcomes for the draft I felt anglophillie and matthews tito's came out really well in terms of bankable stats.
Motown seemed to take players from my queue so I guess I rate his team highly also.
All about in season play, so hopefully we have another active season like the last one, It's still a rare feat to have 12 guys playong it out so I guess that's a testament to strong commish skills and good set of guys.
Welcome to will, plsd to hv you on board
Good luck fellas
